The TPS40170RGYR is a full-featured, synchronous PWM buck controller that runs between 4.5 and 60 V and is designed for high-power density and high-reliability DC-DC converter applications. The controller uses voltage-mode control with input voltage feed-forward compensation, allowing for fast reaction to changes in input voltage. The switching frequency can be set anywhere between 100 and 600 kHz.
