The adjustable shunt voltage references with proven temperature stability across the whole operating temperature range are the TL431AIL3T devices. For the automotive version, the device temperature range is increased from -40 °C to +125 °C. With the help of two external resistors, the output voltage can be adjusted to any value between 2.5 and 36 V. The TL431AIL3T devices have a typical dynamic impedance of 0.22 and operate across a wide current range of 1 to 100 mA.
