A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package surrounds the magnetic switch to protect it from damage. For safety reasons, magnetic switches are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. There is 1.4mA maximum current that these switches can supply. Switches require 3 pins to function. The maximum operating temperature for the magnetic switches can be set to 170°C.
