SD3410-001 Overview
In order to protect these photodiodes from damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in TO-46 packages for safety purposes. A photodiode is equipped with 3 pins. Within the circuit, photodiodes are capable of releasing 150mW heat. When photodiodes operate, they should not be subjected to temperatures higher than 125°C. There should, however, be a minimum operating temperature of -55°C for the photodiodes. For a circuit, the maximum heat released by the photodiodes should be 150mW. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 250nA current.
