A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package is used to protect the magnetic switch against damage. In order to protect the switches from damage, they are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. Good performance is achieved by powering the magnetic switches with 45μA as the maximum current. Magnetic switches should be able to output 1mA at their maximum current.
