A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package surrounds the magnetic switch to protect it from damage. As a safety precaution, the magnetic switches are packaged in 4-SMD, Flat Leads packages. Good performance is achieved by powering the magnetic switches with 3.5μA as the maximum current. For magnetic switches to be actuated, the maximum current should be 1mA.
