A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package surrounds the magnetic switch to protect it from damage. In order to ensure safety, magnetic switches are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. In order to achieve good performance, the magnetic switches should be able to supply 40μA as the maximum current. Magnetic switches should be able to output 2mA at their maximum current.
