PDV-V405-46 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Lens Top Metal Can packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 75V if it is continuously reverse-biased. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse-bias mode, they should not exceed voltage 75V. A photodiode is capable of conducting 150pA current even without light input.
