PDV-C405-46 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Lens Top Metal Can packages. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 100V in continuous reverse-bias mode. Photodiodes in reverse-bias mode should not continuously exceed 100V. There is 150pA current flowing through a photodiode even in the absence of light input.
