PDU-V105 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages. Photodiodes can only withstand 75V in reverse-bias mode indefinitely. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 75V. Photodiodes exhibit 2pA current even in the absence of light input.
