PDU-C114 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. The photodiodes are put into TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages for safety protection. As long as the photodiodes are operated continuously in reverse-bias mode, the maximum voltage they can tolerate is 30V. Continuous reverse-bias should not exceed 30V for the photodiodes. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 3nA current.
