PDI-V115-F Overview
As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages for safety purposes. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 100V. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 100V. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 250pA current even if no light is provided.
