PDI-M305 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. The photodiodes are put into TO-233AA, TO-8-3 Lens Top Metal Can packages for safety protection. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse- bias mode continuously, their maximum voltage is 75V. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 75V. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 100nA current even if no light is provided.
