The Tape & Reel (TR) protects these photodiodes from damage. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages in order to protect them from damage. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 50V.
