PDB-C142F Overview
In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. Photodiodes are protected by Radial, 5mm Dia (T 1 3/4) packages in order to ensure their safety. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 50V. Continuously, the reverse-bias voltage should not exceed 50V for the photodiodes. In order for photodiodes to function, the temperature must not exceed 80°C. The minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes, however, should be set to -40°C. Photodiodes should work when the breakdown voltage is 25V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 5nA current.
