PDB-C139F Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into Radial, 5mm Dia (T 1 3/4) packages in order to protect them from damage. When operating in reverse bias mode continuously, the photodiodes can withstand 50V voltage. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 50V permanently. Photodiodes should function properly if the breakdown voltage is 25V. In the absence of light input, the photodiode exhibits a current of 5nA.
