MTAPD-06-008 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-46-3 Metal Can packages. The maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 160V. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 160V continuously. The current in a photodiode is 50pA even when there is no light input.
