An integrated magnetic switch is packaged within the Cut Tape (CT) in order to protect it against damage. For safety reasons, the magnetic switches are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. There is a limit to 12μA current that can be supplied by these switches.
