HSDL-5420 Overview
To prevent damage to these photodiodes, they are packaged in Bulk. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in 2-SMD, Flat Lead packages. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 40V continuously in reverse-bias mode. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. During the operation of a circuit, photodiodes can release 150mW heat. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 40V. Current should flow across a photodiode at 800mV voltage. The photodiodes were capable of supplying 40V voltage when operating in reverse-bias mode. In the absence of light input, the photodiode exhibits a current of 1nA.
