A voltage of 2.8V~5.2V can be used to supply encoders and get good performance. A minimum operating temperature of -40°C is required so that an encoder works properly. There is however a maximum operating temperature of 85°C for this electronic part. In the way of Bulk, encoders are packaged. During indefinite operation, an encoder will carry a maximum of 5mA current.
