BPV21F Overview
Designed to protect these photodiodes against damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into TO-226-2, TO-92-2 Long Body packages. In reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes are capable of withstanding a maximum voltage of 60V. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 60V should be maintained for the photodiodes. Photodiodes have a pin count of 2. When operating photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 100°C. It should be noted that the photodiodes should be operated at -55°C as a minimum operating temperature. Getting current to flow across a photodiode requires the voltage 1.3V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 2nA current.
