A protective Tape & Reel (TR) package surrounds the magnetic switch to protect it from damage. In order to ensure safety, magnetic switches are packaged in 4-SSIP Module packages. Normally, these switches supply 16mA current. The switches are wired with 4 pins in order to function. There are 4 terminations in it. In order for this switch to function, its maximum voltage should be 18V. The switch normally supplies 8V to ensure reliable operation. A magnetic switch can operate at a minimum voltage of 4V.
