In order to prevent damage, the magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). SOT-23W packages are used to protect the magnetic switches from damage. A magnetic switch can supply a maximum current of 4.5mA if it is well designed. To be output, magnetic switches need a maximum current of 45mA.
