The magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) to ensure it is protected against damage. In order to protect the switches from damage, they are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. A good performance can be achieved with magnetic switches that can deliver 4mA as the maximum current. A magnetic switch should only output 55mA current.
