A protective Tape & Reel (TR) is applied to the magnetic switch in order to prevent damage. For safety reasons, magnetic switches are packaged in SOT-23W packages. In order to provide good performance, magnetic switches can supply 7.5mA as the maximum current. The maximum current that can be output by these switches is 500μA.
